Downloading Current FBDI
- Open up a browser on your desktop and search 'https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/index.html'
- In the Enterprise Resource Planning click 'Financials'
- Scroll down or switch view to Implementation
- Click on the 'HTML' link below 'File-Based Data Import (FBDI) for Financials
- Ensure you are using the latest release. If you receive a notification, that you're viewing an older release, Click 'Go to latest release'
- On the left side of the screen, scroll down until you see '11 General Ledger' click on 'Journal Import'
- Download ' JournalImportTemplate.xlsm' by clicking on link
- Open 'JournalImportTemplate.xlsm' save to 'xxFolder TBDxx' click 'Enable Editing'
- If you get a 'Security Risk' pink banner
- Exit out of the application
- Go to 'xxFolder TBDxx'
- Right click on 'JournalImportTemplate.xlsm'

- Click 'Apply' then 'Okay'
- Reopen 'JournalImportTemplate.xlsm'
- Delete all rows below row 4
Preparing 'JournalImportTemplate'
- Open 'OracleUploadTemplate.xlsx' in the Oracle folder (\\ci.okc\OKC\FI-ASD\Database\Oracle)
- Ensure that columns match the current 'JournalImportTemplate'
- Copy all rows starting at row 2 of the 'OracleUploadTemplate'
- Paste 'values' into the 'JournalImportTemplate'
- Save 'JournalImportTemplate'
- Click the 'Instructions and CSV Generation' tab
- Click 'Generate CSV File' button
- Save CSV file to 'xxFolder TBDxx'
- A Zip file will open save it to 'xxFolder TBDxx' hitting ok
Uploading 'JournalImportTemplate'
- Open Oracle
- Go to Navigator
- Scroll down and open 'Tools'
- Click on 'Scheduled Process'
- Click on 'Schedule New Process'
- Search for ' 'Load Interface File for Import' hit enter and 'OK'
- Import Process: 'Import Journals'
- Data File: Select the recently saved zip file
- Drop down arrow select 'Upload a new file'
- Click 'Choose File'
- Select 'GLInterface.zip' click 'ok'
- Click 'Submit' and 'ok'
- Refresh until the status of Success on all 3 processes.
